Lighting the Feet

Another factor I wanted to include in the feet was lighting them up from underneath. This proved a problem of actually getting power from the PC down to them, as I didn't want wires strewn around outside. I drilled a hole into the base of each of the feet to fit and glue the blue LEDs, then cut some clear plexi to spread the weight and sit them in so the light spreads evenly.


On top of the clear plexi, I glued on some silver foil to reflect the light back in and out towards the sides.


I cut, drilled and wired in the LEDs up the legs, making sure the cables stayed hidden. Finally I added a blue pinstripe after the cables were sealed in with some glue.
